Ant-Man and the Wasp is a 2018 Marvel Studios. Ant-Man and the Wasp is scheduled to be released on August 3, 2018.
Marvel is creating more and more expectations of this film, by involving the presence of the great (and small) Marvel heroes that will appear in the film. In that sense, it seems that Marvel has finally revealed the inclusion of Paul Rudd's Ant-Man by including his costume in a new poster. Look at the new piece of marketing material, below!
We have a great variety of Marvel superhero costumes, perfectly aligned with each other, with Scott Lang's red and black Ant-Man suit firmly anchored between the Black Panther vibranium set and the new Black Widow combat team. Actually, we do not see Paul Rudd in this picture, but the presence of his suit next to these other sets seems to suggest a prominent role in the film.
The inclusion of Ant-Man in Avengers: the marketing of Infinity War seems particularly interesting compared to other heroes in the list of the Avengers because it is the next Marvel character on deck for a solo movie. Following the release of #Avengers: Infinity War later this month, Ant-man and The Wasp will follow this summer on July 6.
At this point, it is not entirely clear how Avengers: Infinity War will draw on the events of the upcoming sequel to Ant-Man, as the recent advance of Ant-Man and The Wasp suggests that it takes place before Infinity War. That said, the presence of Scott Lang in the marketing of Infinity War should make fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe incredibly excited by what is coming for the rest of this year.
Of course, while this tweet seems to actually involve this character, in this movie, there is another Avenger still waiting to appear in the commercial of the movie: Hawkeye. The eagle-eyed archer of Jeremy Renner has remained remarkably absent from all of Avengers' marketing material: Infinity War, leading many to wonder where and when he will appear, as well as how he will look when he finally does. Now, with all this revealed in an Infinity War commercial, our wait for Hawkeye has become even more intense.
